Mungu si Athumani

"God is not a man, that He should tell or act a lie, neither the son of man, that He should feel repentance or compunction [for what He has promised]. Has He said and shall He not do it? Or has He spoken and shall He not make it good?" Numbers 23:19 AMP italics and emphasis mine

Swahili idiom goes "He who gave you, denied me" implying that God will give one and deny another...but Mungu si Athumani. We project our understanding of God from our understanding of man; thus we run FROM God instead of TO God when we erred and get into trouble, for this is what we would do IF God was man.

We think God has favourites, those who DO [always] what He asks; we feel lowly and depressed for we always fail and wrong Him. But the prodigal son and the lost sheep parables (Luke 15) and John 3:16 paint a different story. God's LOVE is beyond human comprehension – we simply have to yield and receive it in spite of ourselves.

Prosperity by Covenant

"…If you start thinking to yourselves, “I did all this. And all by myself. I’m rich. It’s all mine!”—well, think again. If you want folks to switch off | sign out, start talking about financial prosperity. Many would say it is unnecessary focus, waste of precious time for meditation and prayers. Yet the same folks would work 50hrs a week, bargain and scramble for a few cents in shops…Do I blame and judge them . . . not entirely!

For one, Prosperity Gospel has been abused so much so that it has rendered many defensive. The name itself "Prosperity Gospel" is misleading…remove 'Prosperity' from the Gospel and there is no Gospel [Read Isa 61]. God does not give us wealth, He gives us Power – enablement, ability – to get wealth.

Believers Creative Power!

It is easier to believe all knowing powerful God is in charge; this alleviates us the burden, responsibility and accountability of the REALITY we have CREATED. We hide behind "let YOUR WILL be done" and ALLOW the negative creative powers to take charge...then wonder WHY we in trouble!

We express our AUTHORITY and exercise our POWERS by aligning what we THINK, SAY and DO (Creative Power Sequence). Your MIND is a battle ground for FROM whence we THINK thus SAY and DO and consequently create our reality…both good and bad; it is your CHOICE to DECIDE what you experience!
