Broken Focus

“Martha [overly occupied and too busy] was distracted with much serving; and she came up to Him and said, Lord, is it nothing to You that my sister has left me to serve alone?…Lord replied to her by saying, Martha, Martha, you are anxious and troubled about many things; There is need of only one or but a few things. When we were kids we used to play with magnifying lenses in the sun; by focusing a beam of sunlight into a sharp ray on the grass or dry paper a fire flame bursts. We knew that no matter how bright the sun is and how dry the grass or paper is, if the beam is not correctly focused…no fire will ensue! Today we have good people focusing on too many things hence no fire!

To render us power-less/effective-less all the devil has to do is break our focus by spreading our mind's attention in-to a broad sptectrum of things. So he brings in sickness, tragedies, critics, false accusations, a number of good businesses. My friend, find your life focus then allow no-thing and no-one to divert or spread it...that's where fire to change things and people is.
