When we were little, we used to have medicines sugar coated; my mom would say it’s ok its sweet just swallow…well that was not entirely true, was it? Little did we know that inside the sugar coated tablet is bitter medicine. Lucky for us we didn’t chew, we swallowed as quickly as possible. That old serpent is the same, he uses this trick to get you to swallow his bitter tablet.
He would show you the sweet part of sin and disobedience, but not the consequences thereof. God has created us with free will, we have the right to make our own choices, but the truth is while we can choose our actions, we cannot choose the consequences thereof and some consequences of our actions will outlive us like Adam and Eve’s…think twice!
