Negotiate your Destiny

"…if your [mind and] heart turn away and you will not hear, but are drawn away to worship other gods and serve them, I declare to you today that you shall surely perish, and you shall not live long in the land which you pass over the Jordan to enter and possess. I used to believe that whatever God has planned for me will come to pass no matter what, but now that I am older (and hopefully wiser :-) I know it all depends on me. What I say (or don't say), what I do (or don't do), knowledge I have (or don't have), people I associate with (or don't associate with); all these are critical as I daily negotiation towards my destiny.

Your destiny as a destination, every day (moment) the choice(s) that you make (or don't make) matters. As we travel towards our respective destinies, some fly, drive, run, walk, crawl yet others travel in the opposite direction from their destiny. Make a pact with yourself today that you will be extra vigilant in every moment of your day lest you miss your destination.
