Not every battle (enemy) is for you to fight, we need
to be wise and sensitive to the prompting of the Holy Spirit so that we know
when to stand, when to run or simply walk away from an assault hauled against
us. If you insist on fighting every battle set before you, it will take away
your focus, energy and time to work
on your real progress.
My personal conviction is ONE: Only engage where there is a peace of God to do so, TWO: In absence of God’s specific instruction,
use common sense—what do you stand to gain from the onslaught? What will you lose
if you don’t fight? What I am trying to say is: learn to pick your battles—not every enemy is for you to fight.
Golden rule: silence cannot be misquoted!
