He Carried Our Sorrows and Griefs

Surely He has borne our griefs (sicknesses, weaknesses, and distresses) and carried our sorrows and pains [of punishment]…He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our guilt and iniquities; the chastisement [needful to obtain] peace and well-being for us was upon Him, and with the stripes [that wounded] Him we are healed and made whole” ©Isa 53:4,5 AMP italics and emphasis mine

It is easy to drift straight into the cross as penalty for our sins and stop there. Yet Jesus did not just suffer and die for sins alone…He took our grief, distress, heartache, weakness, anguish and unhappiness and carried our sorrow and pain as He shamefully and painfully died on the cross.

When in pain, grief, distress, sorrow, weak and sick you can come to Christ and unburden yourself unto Him (talk to Him, tell Him as it is), forget rituals and religious protocols and prayers…talk to Him, relieve yourself unto Him, He cares for you deeply for He knows how you feel.

I believe in prosperity for I believe in God, for He gives me power to get wealth” © TJ Kyara
