3-2-1 Ratio!

"Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he MEDITATE DAY AND NIGHT. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and WHATSOEVER HE DOETH SHALL PROSPER." Psalms 1:1-3 KJV italics and emphasis mine

For every NEGATIVE (bad, damaging, destructive) EXPERIENCE (word, deed), it will take at least 3 EXPERIENCES to bring one to a POSITIVE state*. For some reason the bad experiences are burnt deeper and remembered easier than the good ones. Losing a $100 pains deeper than the joy of picking $100 on the pavement.

For every lie told, it takes at least 3 truths to be trusted again. For every unbelief statement you hear, it will take at least 3 truths to restore your faith. My point is, ONE: Be careful what & who you listen, TWO: Meditate and affirm the TRUTHs to yourself DAILY, THREE: Think before you pass on a lie, fear or negative comment to someone.

SKELETONs in our CLOSETs

He led me back and forth among them, and I saw a great many bones on the floor of the valley, bones that were very dry. He asked me, “Son of man, can these bones live?”
I said, “Sovereign Lord, you alone know.” Then he said to me, “Prophesy to these bones and say to them, ‘Dry bones, hear the word of the Lord! Ezekiel 37:2-4 NIV italics and emphasis mine

When we hear the word 'Prophesy' we immediately think of things that HAVE to happen in the future that God reveals to us today. But there is another meaning to Prophesy, it is SPEAKing what WE DESIRE to happen. Words are the second order CREATION, preceded by Thoughts and proceeded by Action…when we SPEAK we CREATE.

Ezekiel was saying, it is only you God who can tell if these bones will live. God turns and say, ooh no, YOU can decide right now by TALKing to THE BONES. Do you have skeletons in your Closet?…it is up to you what happens next…SPEAK to your bones and TELL them come together to form a structure you DESIRE to see!!!

a Realistic God

"Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh; is there anything too hard for Me?" Jeremiah 32:27 AMP italics and emphasis mine

"This is unrealistic, we can't expect God to answer this, really" retorted angry church elder in a church leaders' meeting. His argument was, we were wasting time petitioning God for something that was not realistic. It was unrealistic for a handful of economic refugees in a foreign land to expect God to grant their petition to own a chunk of land.

The term "unrealistic" is subjective (based on individual view | perception) usually refers to something 'not sensible', 'improbable' and 'idealistic'. I can see why God prepared Moses for 40 years then used Moses to prepare Israelites for THEIR Promised Land for 40. God was ready to do the unrealistic but Israel was not until 80 years later...

Open Door Policy

"No trial has overtaken you that is not faced by others. And God is faithful: He will not let you be tried beyond what you are able to bear, but with the trial will also provide a way out so that you may be able to endure it" I Cor 10:13 NET italics and emphasis mine

I have been learning so keenly how to recognize opened doors in my life for me to realize my potential. Where there is a DOOR, there is a WALL, where there is a wall there is a ROOM. Every time you encounter a wall – hindrance, obstacles, setbacks – somewhere along the wall, hidden in plain sight, is a DOOR.

To find the door, you need to look at the wall with a different EYE– talk to your SOUL (and mean it) saying "along these walls of setbacks, obstacles and no's is a door for me and these walls are meant to enclose, secure and keep inside what is meant for me. Lord, thank you for opening my eyes to see the door set only for me"
