God can use an idiot!

“And the word of the Lord came to him (Elijah), saying, ‘Go from here and turn east and hide yourself by the brook Cherith, east of the Jordan’. You shall drink of the brook, and I have commanded the ravens to feed you there. So he did according to the word of the Lord…And the ravens brought him bread and flesh in the morning and bread and flesh in the evening, and he drank of the brook” ©1 Kings 17:2-6 AMP italics, bracket and emphasis mine

A man coming to an end of his long fast far up on the mountains prayed, “God, if thou truly heard my prayers bring me a hot three course meal on Saturday as I break my fast”. He continued to pray faith-full daily as the day approached. An atheist passing by hunting heard the prayer went and provided the meal on the day boasting, “There you go fool; I knew your non-existent God will not respond”

In my Christian walk I have witnessed believers refusing to receive from people/organizations that “don’t look like they can be used of God”, they think they got God all figured outJ!!! God uses things, angels, people—saved, un-saved, sinners and saints likewise—as He sees fit. Be careful not to limit Him as you pray, He is God, He can use “anything” or “anyone” to His Glory and Honour.

Find (and Protect) ur Turf!

“…To one he gave five talents [probably about $5,000], to anothertwo, to another one—to each in proportion to his own personal ability. Then he departed and left the country…Now after a long time the master of those servants returned and settled accounts with them…” © Matt 25:15,19 AMP italics and emphasis mine

 Nobody can beat you being you; but when you are too busy being someone else, you enter into competition mode. If you are being the unique, real and authentic you, there is no competition. Every person born of a woman has unique ‘gift—talent’ and ‘assignment’ in life. Your challenge is to dig within to find yourself—your gift and assignment—this is your turf, your territory (eneo la kujidaiJ)!
 
When people copy you, fret not as they only mimic what you show them i.e. they live on your crumbs while you being in your turf brings fresh stuffs from within—with creative, innovative and inventive ideas—at ease/pleasure. To discover your gift and assignment—click here— pay close attention to what makes you cry, angry, passion, what you love most or notice most (put aside money, power and fame).
 
NOTE: Jesus said everyone was given ‘in proportion to their own personal ability’ this means some of us we are given small capitalbecause He knows that we are ‘able’ to begin small and finish big while others then need huge capital to bring in minimal returns. Thus for me, small (humble) start is not necessarily a sign of my ability and destiny.

If God does not touch you...

“… And, behold, a woman, which was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years, came behind him, and touched the hem of his garment. For she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole. But Jesus turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour…” © Matthew 9:20-22 KJV, italics and emphasis mine
 
I am not a subscriber of the gospel/theology that encourages believers to layback trusting that whatever God has destined to happen ‘for them’ will happen. The bible is full of scriptures that begin withconditional clause ‘IF’. This means it is not up to God but to you to work smarter, pursue wisdom, study His word, pray…and yes SEEK HIM for your vindication.
 
Thus, if God does not touch you, YOU can touch Him like the woman in the scripture above. If God does not call you, YOU can call Him, if He refuses to answer, SHOUT even louder for His name and title (PRAISE) like Bartimaeus (Mark 10). If He does not come to you, YOU can go to His presence like Nicodemus (John 3). If God ignores/insult you, don't despair, keep up with Him on his game like Samaritan woman (Matt 15). If He refuses to bless you even after you grabbed Him, don’t let go until He does like Jacob come Israel (Gen 32).

Light, Focus ACTION!

"MY SON, be attentive to my Wisdom [godly Wisdom learned by actual and costly experience], and incline your ear to my understanding [of what is becoming and prudent for you], That you may exercise proper discrimination and discretion and your lips may guard and keep knowledge and the wise answer [to temptation]" ©Proverbs 5:1-2 AMP, italics and emphasis mine

Whenever you look at your life (present/future) and the image is not clear, then either the image is out of focus and/or there is no enoughlight. Jesus (God's word) is the light, hence looking at things in the light of 'the word' is prudent. But many lack focus; we don't 'pay' the attention and concentration due to the subject with single-mindedness that is required.
 
Lack of focus can be caused by the chaos and loudness of 'thingsand people' we allow around us or by lack of skills to calm the mind (in spite of environment). We 'give away' our attention to things that don't matter—at the expense to things that do. We clog our minds with irrelevant information—news, events and gossip no wonder we fail to see through and focus into ideas and things that matter.
