Is it KARMA or Godly Principle?

“…Here is a simple, rule-of-thumb guide for behavior: Ask yourself what you want people to do for you, then grab the initiative and do it for them. Add up God’s Law and Prophets and this is what you get…” ©Matthew 7:12 MSG italics and emphasis mine

Karma is an intergral part of Hindu phylosophy which in essence it says what you do to others is a seed that you will eventually reap back in your own life, be it good or bad. It is so to speak cause and effect signifying that nothing just happens. If you want good to come to you, you must send, plant, cause good out there for others.

In the above text Jesus said, whatever you want to come to you, send it out. He also taught ”give and it shall be given back to you...for with the measure you use, it will be measured to youLuke 6:38. Hence do not expect Apples if you planted Pine-Apples. Cause & Effect, Seed & Harvest, usually the effect and harvest are amplified!!!

When the Brook Dries...

“…So he (Elijah) did what the Lord had told him. He went to the Kerith Ravine, east of the Jordan, and stayed there. The ravens brought him bread and meat in the morning and bread and meat in the evening, and he drank from the brook. Some time later the brook dried up because there had been no rain in the land. Then the word of the Lord came to him.  Go at once to Zarephath in the region of Sidon and stay there. I have directed a widow there to supply you with food.”…” © 1 King 17:5-9 NIV italics, emphasis and words in bracket mine

It is amazing how many folks suffer shipwreck for holding on to what worked in the past; we hold on to people, circumstances, places, jobs, business you name it whilst deep down inside the Holy Spirit is asking us to let go. God is your SOURCE and everything and everyone else simply a MEANS, so when the means dries up, check up with the source for NEW inspiration, direction and instructions.

When the brook dries you need to commune deeply with the Spirit of God for distinctive specific direction (wisdom, instructions). Sometimes it may be due to dis-obedience on your part but many are times it is simply time has run out on that place and you need to evolve if you are to breakthrough. Don’t be caught hung up on what worked yesterday while the Holy Ghost is dispense fresh manner for TODAY.

Carpenter instructing Fishermen?

“…and Simon (Peter) answered, Master, WE TOILED ALL NIGHT [exhaustingly] and caught nothing [in our nets]. But on the ground of YOUR WORD, I will lower the nets [again]. And when they had done this, they caught a great number of fish; and as their nets were [at the point of] breaking…” ©Luke 5:5-7 AMP italics, emphasis and words in bracket mine

Peter and his lot were experienced professional fishermen, they knew how and where to catch fish—Jesus on the other hand was a carpenter! This night they toiled all night with nothing to show in the morning but exhaustion and frustrations. Then Jesus appears asking for fish which they had none. He asks them to cast net on the other side...they could have argued with him and explain how fishing works but they didn’t.

Peter, the scripture above, knew something that Jesus mother also knew (when she asked servants to do whatever Jesus said when they ran out of wine at the wedding). They knew that what Jesus says Goes irrespective of circumstances—prevailing facts. My appeal to you is, when you are in a tight jam, SEEK His word and obey it promptly and wholly doubting nothing—thats where your breakthrough is.
