I wish we could all understand the significance of what James is sayin
g in the above text; he is comparing ‘our tongue’ with the rudder—the devise attached at the rear bottom of the ship next to the propeller (inset B) that turns a ship (inset A) from one direction to another as Captain wishes. See how big the ship is and how small the rudder is, the destination of the ship is guided by it.
