“…my son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh…” © Proverbs 4:20-22, KJV, italics and emphasis mine
Years ago we bought our first (black n’ white) TV, it had indoor aerial (chadema), we worked so hard to get reception from the local broadcasts; we took turn holding up the aerial whilst lifting up one hand and leg acrobatically leaning towards the window…Yet our neighbour, who had a satellite dish, received clear colour signals from afar off effortlessly.
Some people say due to increased wickedness of mankind God has stopped speaking. I believe those who will get their satellite dish installed, “inclined” in the right direction and switch on their digital receiver will agree that God still speaks today. If you are struggling to hear from God, it is not about God but rather about your position and inclination (heart, attitude, belief) towards Him.
