Are you Pulled or Pushed?

“…Have not I commanded you? Be strong, vigorous, and very courageous. Be not afraid, neither be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go…” © Josh 1:9, AMP italics and emphasis mine

There are two opposing forces that are constantly at work in our life; FEAR, which in essence is the (PULL) force that pulls us back(wards), usually generated from past mistakes, failures, inadequacies (negative experiences) AND HOPE, contrary to fear, it is a (PUSH) force (courage) that propel us forward in spite of the past or/and present.

Fearful people focus on the past experiences; they use the past to judge what the future is going to be for them. Hope-full (faith-full) people focus on the future (dream, aspiration, visions, desires). When you have a business deal, meeting new people, work promotion, investment potential…do you pull back in fear (reserved) or push forward (act) in hope?
