We have teachings after teachings on how to pick life partner—wife/husband, but little is said about how to pick friends. The scriptures are clear, “He who walks with wise men will be wise, But the companion of fools will be destroyed”, Proverbs 13:20, NKJV. Through my close allies, God has opened many doors of opportunities and mine eyes to see what I couldn't see right before me.
Qualify people you call friends; those that you allow into your presence often (to speak/share their life with you) . Qualities of a worthy ally, but to name a few, are: 1. Tell you the TRUTH, not pamper your achievements and/or failures, 2. Don’t PUT DOWN your dreams/aspirations no matter how wild or silly they are, 3. Will not let you SETTLE for nothing but the best of your potential.
