Secular n' Sacred Jobs!

“…the twelve summoned the multitude of the disciples and said, “It is not desirable that we should leave the word of God and serve tables. Therefore, brethren, seek out from among you seven men of good reputation, full of the Holy Spirit and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business…” © Acts 6:2-3 NKJV, italics and emphasis mine

There is a universaly accepted belief that services/works which are not direcly into "religious" service are termed as SECULAR (non-spiritual/worldly) e.g. services provided by street vendors, shopkeepers, office cleaners, nurses, doctors, engineers, drivers, pilots, teachers, cooks, politicians, farmers etc is this really biblical?

The God who instructed Adam to TILL the garden (BEFORE the fall) and blessed him to be fruitful, multiply and subdue the EARTH is the same God who commands us of the Gospel. Thus when I till the land, sell fish & chips, serve in public office or pastor a church it is all the same, I am serving the Lord by providing service to His people...it is all SPIRITUAL!
