If you want folks to switch off | sign
out, start talking about financial prosperity. Many would say it is unnecessary
focus, waste of precious time for meditation and prayers. Yet the same folks
would work 50hrs a week, bargain and scramble for a few cents in shops…Do I
blame and judge them . . . not entirely!
For one, Prosperity Gospel has been
abused so much so that it has rendered many defensive. The name itself
"Prosperity Gospel" is misleading…remove 'Prosperity' from the Gospel
and there is no Gospel [Read Isa 61]. God does not give us wealth, He gives us Power – enablement, ability – to
get wealth.
