"...He (Jesus) said to Simon, “Launch out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch.” But Simon answered and said to Him (Jesus), “Master, we have toiled all night and caught nothing; nevertheless at Your word I will let down the net.” And when they had done this, they caught a great number of fish, and their net was breaking...." I love the definition (Elbert Einstein) that insanity is, "...doing the same thing(s) over and over whilst expecting different results..." if you accept this definition, then it is insane to wake up in the morning, go to work, come back home, eat dinner, pray, go to sleep, wake up and go to work again and repeat the same circle over and over whilst expecting 'somehow' things will get better (change), NO THEY WON'T because if you always do what you have always done, you will always get what you have always got.
Prayer (and or reading the bible) alone won't change your circle (circmstance) . Let me speak to those who have prayed for something specific for a long time, I challenge you to go back into your prayer closet and LISTEN to what the Lord has to say AND DO IT. You will be surprised that it is the little hinges that swings big doors and small things that makes big difference. Take heed to what Jesus mother said, "whatever He tells you to do it, DO IT" (John 2:5b)
